Behind the site is Emilia, a software developer who graduated in spring 2024. Her enthusiasm for coding began in her teenage years, though she didn’t start pursuing it professionally until much later. She loves problem-solving and challenging her own skills, not to mention learning new things. Her hobbies include working with dogs, such as obedience training and nose work, and she manages daily life with the help of a calendar—“planner-ing” has become a hobby in itself. She views ADHD more as a strength than a weakness, even though it does bring its own challenges to daily life.
She is committed to continuously developing her skills, enjoys learning new things, and applying new knowledge in practice. She appreciates that learning never stops—there’s always something new to discover, and everything is constantly evolving.

Skills
I am innovative, pedantic and visually gifted.
My expertise and interest is strongly in WordPress and I can create my own theme independently all the way from wireframe to finished theme. Of course, I still have a lot to learn, and I can’t wait for the new learning to be put into practice.
I know how to use version control with the developer and enjoy using git from the command line.
I’ve been using Adobe XD to design websites and after leaving school I’ve switched to Figma – although yet, I don’t know it as well as XD, but I’m practicing and happy to learn how to use the program.
I am an enthusiastic learner of new things and I want to continuously develop my own skills to improve. I don’t just want to be a good coder, I want to be an excellent coder.
